“A Ca’n Coll” is an investigation into the home and the relationships that are generated within it. Through ethnographic methods, it proposes a way of understanding the home as a rhizomatic system, a cosmos built from the interpersonal relationships between the members of the community and the household objects. Starting with the graphic construction of a map that outlines the home from the different types of assemblages that are created, it culminates in a video essay format, portraying the rhizome of my home: a journey through the house via its objects, pausing on some to look at them closely, emphasizing the details, materiality, and their agential role among the people that make up the home.
